New compact van Mazda5 has received the maximum estimation - 5 stars, on last European testing NCAP.
By results of tests Mazda5 has received 33 points that does by one of the best cars in the class on protection of passengers during collision practically in any situation. In spite of the fact that from tested авто Mazda5 was a unique minivan which is equipped by two convenient sliding дверьми, the model has received the highest point for safety during lateral blow. 18 points from 18 possible – the proof of that sliding doors not only are more convenient, are beautiful and aesthetic, but also are more safe, than traditionally opening.

In the test for head-on collision Mazda5 has received 13 points that makes 84 % from the maximum estimation, with additional two points for system of seat belts.
